Over the past 2 years I had the opportunity to create a 21st century classroom. I feel that the ideal classroom celebrates and honors the people in it. The physical space is bright and cheerful. The furniture is mobile and versatile. I have said in workshops, "Pedagogy is not driven by the furniture layout." Tools for learning, and yes, you can read technology here, are accessible and help students discover new things about the world and about themselves.
